The HAJAS’s Greater Kansas City Japan Festival, scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2020, was not held “in-person” in 2020 at the Johnson County Community College.
Instead, we produced a 2020 Virtual GKC Japan Festival. You will find numerous presentations from some of your favorite festival performers and presenters.
Unlike our traditional festivals, which are one-day events, you can view our videos at your leisure and watch them as many times as you would like. These 2020 videos will be available until our 2022 festival on October 8, 2022, for you to enjoy and to tell your friends to join you in viewing these presentations about Japanese culture. You can watch these videos free of charge and as many times as you like.
The Heart of America Japan-America Society would like to thank our financial supporters that made our 2020 Virtual Greater Kansas City Japan Festival possible. Without their significant financial support our 2020 Virtual Festival would not have been possible!

Donate
Because we didn't have a physical festival in 2020 or 2021, we are offering this virtual festival free to the community! If you would like to contribute, please consider placing a donation to the Greater Kansas City Japan Festival in place of your ticketed admission.
