Tea Ceremony Workshop

This workshop offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the intriguing ritual of sadou (the way of tea) as a special guest.

It begins with a demonstration including key points and principles of tea culture. Guests will enjoy a wagashi (sweet) and ceremonial matcha (green tea) while observing and experiencing the intricacies of the tea ceremony. Each guest will be presented with a special tea memento to remember their 一期一会* experience.

Each workshop is 50 minutes in length, limited to 25 guests, and is best suited for ages 13 and older.

*一期一会 is pronounced: ichigo ichi e and conveys the idea that each moment and each encounter in life is unique and cherished.
