Thank you for your interest in coming to the Greater Kansas City Japan Festival! The GKCJF is a one-day festival held annually at Johnson County Community College. We're dedicated to educating and entertaining the Greater Kansas City Metro Area through an introduction to Japanese culture. The following form is for businesses, artists, and crafters to apply for a vendor booth space at the 2016 Japan Festival. Generally, vendors must be related to Japanese art, culture, lifestyle, or hobbies in some way. Exceptions may be granted on a case-by-case basis.
Before continuing, please note the following guidelines.
1.) All vendors are expected to participate in the festival for the entire duration of the event; if a vendor arrives / sets up late or must leave / tear down early, the festival will not offer refunds for unused booth space.
2.) All vendors participating in the festival must have either a Kansas sales tax certificate or agree to remit the tax collected immediately after the event using the tax packet provided specifically for the event. Information about sales tax will be sent following acceptance.
3.) All vendors participating in the festival must agree to and sign a vendor contract with GKCJF, outlining further terms and conditions for participation in the festival. Vendors who do not sign the contract will not be accepted.

All applications must be submitted by August 15th, 2016.
Vendor spaces are first-come, first-serve, after acceptance from the GKCJF.
