Join Karuta tables for future those who want to practice their character recognition skills, as well as conversation tables with KU international students from Japan to practice conversation skills.
- Karuta tables for future Japanese Language contestants who want to practice their character recognition skills.
- Conversation tables will be hosted by native speakers and KU international students from Japan and are open to any level of student looking for practice.
Members of JIAH are instructors of Japanese at high schools and colleges in Kansas and Missouri. JIAH meets every 3-4 months to discuss Japanese pedagogy, upcoming Japan-related events, and plan the annual Heartland Japanese Language Contest.
Instructors outside Kansas and Missouri are also welcome to join.
